Computational model for low cycle fatigue analysis of lattice materials: Incorporating theory of critical distance with elastoplastic homogenization

چکیده

A novel numerical framework for low cycle fatigue analysis of lattice materials is presented. The based on computational elastoplastic homogenization equipped with the theory critical distance to address phenomenon. Explicit description representative volume element and periodic boundary conditions are combined efficiency elimination effects. proposed method generic applicable micro-architectured materials. has been applied 2-D auxetic 3-D kelvin lattices. classical Coffin-Manson Morrow models used provide life predictions (strain-life curves). Predicted lives shown good correspondence experimentally found from literature.
